Tip #1: Study easy things AND hard things
Do you think learning is too hard? If yes, you are making one of two mistakes:
Studying for too long at a time. Have shorter study sessions
Studying very hard topics
Find a balance. Sometimes learn easy topics. That will boost your confidence. It will energize you. When you have more energy, do a harder topic.
Manage your energy levels.
Tip #2: Keep a “Learning Log”
Grab an empty notebook. On the first page, write What I’ve Learned in Spanish (or whatever language you are learning.) Every month, write down:
Sounds/letters you mastered
Words/phrases you mastered
This is an easy way to measure progress.
