Modifying the Goal

Update on my accelerated curriculum

Back in October, I told you about an accelerated learning program I was developing.

The initial goal was to help people reach fluency 2-3x faster than what is currently thought to be possible. Shortly after I started to develop the program, I realized that a few people have already put together accelerated programs that, seemingly, work.

Therefore, I modified my goal: adopt accelerated programs that already exist so that my business teaches languages as fast as what is currently thought to be possible.

Today I’d like to specify the goal further.

The modified goal is to develop a program I’m tentatively calling Guaranteed Fluency.

Guaranteed Fluency is a series of group classes that would get at least 90% of students to be able to:

1. Have short conversations (about 5-10 minutes) in another language within 3 months

2. Reach an upper-beginner (A2) level within 1 year or less

3. Reach fluency (B2 level) within 3 years or less

I, likely, would like to have a framework to go from a B2 to C2, but I don’t know what that would look like just yet.

Once Guaranteed Fluency has proven results, I would then like to create a Guaranteed Fluency Instructor Certification.

This would be for instructors who want to learn the curriculum and teaching methods I develop.
