I haven’t had a chance to write a blog post in a while. I would prefer to spend more time on each blog post, but sometimes a little bit is better than nothing. One reason I write on this blog is to read 20+ years in the future. The more often I write, the more I have to look back on in the future.
Here are some of the things I have been working on lately.
Learning more to grow my business. Some concepts/ideas I’ve been learning about and implementing are:
Activation Rate
Time to Value
Communication pre and post the initial sale
Ongoing onboarding
Product-Market Fit
Fancy fails, simple scales
Qualifying customers before they buy
Setting clearer expectations
Following through on the Rule of 100
I credit Alex Hormozi for this. It equates to taking 100 actions a day or spending 100 minutes a day, every day, on aspects of my life I want to improve. I’m currently focusing on:
100 minutes on my health per day. Currently that manifests itself in 100 minutes of exercise. I’ve been coming in at 60-90 minutes daily so far. I am working on getting to 100.
100 tasks a day to grow my business. Sometimes I aim at 100 minutes spent om business growth instead of 100 tasks.
Making Gujarati videos
I have a side project called Learn Gujarati with Me where I make videos and podcasts teaching Gujarati.
Reading
I read to give me a better chance of having a good life. Lately I find I read books multiple times in a row. The point of this is to really internalize the author’s message. After doing so, I find a way to weave it into my way of being. I don’t want to be someone who reads, learns, and doesn’t implement the lessons.
I haven’t read in a couple weeks because I’ve been watching more videos on YouTube to grow my business instead.
Thanks for reading today’s post. Talk soon.
