I recently started teaching a new Gujarati student who has a grammar-heavy curriculum. Here’s a screenshot from the curriculum I sent him.
Today I’d like to share some of the ways he’ll be practicing and improving upon his grammar at home. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me!
Strategy 1: Do drills using a declension/conjugation table
Here’s a screenshot from a chart I’ll soon be assigning to my student.
You can find blank conjugation charts for numerous languages by searching “blank verb conjugation chart _______ (language) on TPT or simply on Google. Online verb conjugation drills for the following languages can be found on the links below. If you’d like help finding a chart/drills for another language, let me know.
Strategy 2: Use ChatGPT
Here’s the link to ChatGPT in case you’ve never used it. It’s an online chatbot that you can use for a myriad of language learning purposes.
See the screenshots below for an example of what you’d say to have ChatGPT correct your writing and help you practice grammar.
Once you’ve done that, ask ChatGPT to explain your errors. See below for an example.
Of course, these are not the only ways to improve your grammar.
There are many more. Let me know what your favourite ways are by commenting on this post or contacting me.
Thanks for reading and see you next time!
This was very helpful. I have never used ChatGPT. It looks like a very useful tool.
