*Today I did a brain dump to see where it lead me. My brain (perhaps my unconscious mind) helped me find a solution to a problem that has been stressing me out for a few days, though I am still a little stressed to be honest.
Enjoy this short blog post.
There are certain tasks that I have thought about doing, but have not gotten around to yet.
Some of these are:
Payroll
Filling out a form for a new B2B client who has contracted my business’ services
Sending two invoices; one to a B2B client and another to a referral partner
These tasks (and administrative tasks in general) often intimidate me. I am also impatient with administrative tasks. I get frustrated and…maybe even a little angry when I spend a long time on them.
I do have an administrative assistant.
She’s a big help. I’m realizing as I’m writing this that invoicing is something that I could have her do. I don’t need to do it. Interesting. I’m going to make a note of that. It’s even overwhelming thinking about how to delegate this job to her. It’s probably not actually that hard - all she needs would be access to a few spreadsheets.
Huh. I suppose that solves a problem. Yay.
I’m still feeling stressed about the three tasks I mentioned earlier.
Actually, that’s only partially true. Payroll isn’t stressing me right now. I am stressed about the form I need to fill out and the two invoices. This is because:
Form: I’m stressed because I want it to be a job I can complete in 30 minutes or less, but I fear it’s a 3-hour job. Understanding this already alleviates a lot of the anxiety. Yay.
Invoices: They need to be sent tomorrow, so I will need to do them myself. I don’t think it’s fair to give a last-minute job to my assistant on a Sunday. Honestly though, I think I can get the invoices done within 30 minutes. That’s not so bad actually.
I’m feeling a little bit better. I am going to keep meditating on this before bed.
Thank you for reading this. Here are some topics I plan to cover in future posts.

I spend hours listening to music and watching videos (usually on YouTube.) Why is this bothering me?

Just how weird am I? If I truly am a pretty unusual person, can I use this to my advantage?
